A close-knit group of flutists playing all types of flutes
Piccolo, C flute, Alto, Bass, and even Contrabass.

Diverse repertoire, including classical, modern, Israeli music, original works for flute choir, and orchestral arrangements.

We meet bi-weekly for rehearsals in Maccabim, with professional coaching from an experienced flute teacher.

Performance opportunities several times a year, including recordings and participation in unique projects.

On Memorial Day for Israel's Fallen Soldiers 2024, we participated in the ceremony at " Yad La-Shiryon" in Latrun.
We performed the song "Kol Adam" (Every Person) with Danny Robas, written by the late Captain Yahel Gazit.


In January 2023, we participated in a flute choir convention in Aveiro, Portugal.
We represented Israel with works by Israeli composers.

As we approach the end of the season, we gathered in the studio for recordings.

Warm congratulations to the winners of the Israeli Flute Choir's second composition competition for the year 2022.
First place was awarded to composer Tsachi Samira for the piece: The Wind Blower (Mashiv HaRuach).
Second place was awarded to composer Yael Cohen for the piece: The Adventure of Dis.
The works will be published by the Israel Music Institute. They will also receive a live performance and recording by the Israeli Flute Choir during the 2022-2023 concert season.

Composition Competition
Following the success of the first composition competition, the Israel Flute Choir, in collaboration with the Israel Music Institute, has decided to hold a second composition competition.
The two works selected by the judges will be published by the Israel Music Institute and will receive a live performance and recording by the choir during the upcoming concert season.

Warm congratulations to the winners of the Israeli Flute Choir's first composition competition for the year 2020/2021.
First place was awarded to composer Tom Silberstein for the piece: The Mysterious Samuel Alleno.
Second place was awarded to composer Ofir Bar On for the piece: Silent Wonder - Afterword.
Third place was awarded to composer Reuven Kazhiloti for the piece: Ballad & Dance.
The works will be published by the Israel Music Institute. They will also receive a live performance and recording by the Israeli Flute Choir during the 2021/2022 concert season.

Flute Choir Composition Competition
The Israel Flute Choir strives to encourage new Israeli composers.
In cooperation with the Israel Music Institute, a competition is being held for flute choir compositions. The winning piece will be performed by the Israel Flute Choir in concert in 2021.
Final date for submitting compositions is 31.12.2020.
